Beverly Melasi-Haag lives in Miami, Florida, and truly believes that, “Reading is Magic!”  She has been a published children’s book author, and creative writing instructor for over 20 years.

Her illustrious writing career began with writing feature articles for her local newspaper; later becoming the managing editor of five community newspapers.

She wrote an educational program called, Writing for Publication, and created a workbook of the same name, teaching it in adult education, colleges and universities.

Today, Beverly has attained a substantial amount of writing accomplishments, including several children’s mystery books published under her own label, as well as numerous titles as a ghost writer for a major children’s mystery book publisher.

She also develops educational programs, facilitates workshops and seminars, is a certified reading tutor with the Miami-Dade County L.E.A.D.S. Program, and taught creative writing and Intro to Journalism classes, in the Miami-Dade Community College Kids and Teen College program.
